The Mercer County Hispanic Association (MECHA) was founded in 1985 to establish and ensure that adequate representation and services are provided to meet the needs of the Latino population of Mercer County. MECHA’s mission is to provide and/or facilitate access to social services and advocate on behalf of community members. MECHA serves people in need from all communities in Mercer County, working to provide them with the skills and services necessary to promote self-sufficiency.
Seeing the need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions.
We have grown steadily ever since, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. Do you think you’d fit in well? Please contact for more information!
