MECHA helps neighbors with Spanish and English. You can try a free AI draft on this page. For a letter, school note, or official record, a person then reads the work. We are a community classroom, not a private agency. We are not attorneys. We do not file immigration forms.

Step 2
AI reads Spanish or English and writes the other language. This is a first look only. It can miss a stamp, a handwritten line, or a legal word. It is not a certified translation.
Step 3
For a paid page, staff reads the original and the draft. They correct names, dates, and meaning. That is why there is a fee — a person spends time so the paper is safe to use.

For USCIS-style papers we can add a signed statement that the translation is complete and accurate. We are not attorneys. We do not file your immigration forms.

Interpreters commonly charge $50 to $120 an hour; a language cooperative that serves nonprofits often charges $80 to $90. MECHA is a community classroom, not an agency. We keep Spanish and English, we use AI for the first draft, and a person still checks paid pages. The fee is lower so neighbors can use it. We do not charge a card on this website.
